Ciaminada Nonesa joins the VSS Raiffeisen running circuit
The eighth edition on October 21, 2018 formalizes the race's connection with South Tyrol: it becomes an official stop on the VSS Raiffeisen village and town running circuit.
The eighth edition of Ciaminada Nonesa, on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Sarnonico, brings a change with lasting consequences: the race officially joins the VSS Raiffeisen circuit, the South Tyrolean village and town running series organized by the Vereinigung Südtiroler Sportverbände (VSS).
The connection between the Ciaminada and the South Tyrolean running world had been growing organically for years. This formalizes it, with the organizers noting aligned objectives between CSI Trento and VSS Raiffeisen in grassroots sport promotion.
The adult race remains the 21.1 km eco half-marathon across meadows, forest roads, gorges and cycling paths. Adult categories are expanded to create more competitive classes. Nordic Walking (12 km) and the family walk “A Spas par i Pradiei” (5 km) complete the day’s program.
